Selling becomes uncomfortable when it feels isolated, as though each offer stands alone and disappears as quickly as it arrives. In this workshop, we’ll focus on creating an ecosystem around your work so that people can enter your world at different points and remain connected over time.

Are you looking for advice on approaching and working with galleries? Learn what to expect and gather practical tips. In this session we will discuss where to hear about exhibition opportunities and how to apply for shows. We will cover presenting your work, signing and editioning, plus getting your artwork exhibition ready, with framing, mounting and shipping advice too.

Artists Bio’s, Media and Press Releases
Workshop 6: Artists Bio’s, Media and Press Releases
6-8 pm, Wednesday 2nd September
In this session we will look at aspects of promoting your work such as reaching out to media and creating press releases. How to write your art biography and what is needed for related information support. In this session you will work in groups to write your artist biography and create a media pitch for an imagined or upcoming exhibition. The session will also cover maintaining those all important artwork records.
Each workshop will have a follow up session where we can implement what was discussed in the workshop.
