Workshop 6: Artists Bio’s, Media and Press Releases
6-8 pm, Wednesday 2nd September
In this session we will look at aspects of promoting your work such as reaching out to media and creating press releases. How to write your art biography and what is needed for related information support. In this session you will work in groups to write your artist biography and create a media pitch for an imagined or upcoming exhibition. The session will also cover maintaining those all important artwork records.Each workshop will have a follow up session where we can implement what was discussed in the workshop.
