Now two hour sessions!

Intermediate Level Class

Suitable for those who have taken Kat’s first Nature Drawing Class, or another block drawing course elsewhere, or have been doing observational drawing for a while but want to improve their skills.

Class One: Roots, Shoots and Tangled Things

Easy techniques to help you with complex detailed work.

Class Two: Inner Worlds - Internal Structures

Taking Leonardo da Vinci’s anatomical drawings as our inspiration - but with fruit!

Class Three: Gesture and Flow: Seaweed and Liquid Graphite

Make your drawings come alive and explore the potential of liquid graphite.

Class Four: All Important References

This is the beginning of a longer drawing over the last three sessions where we’ll look more at planning a drawing including photos and sketch references.

Class Five: More Mark-Marking

We’ll look at ways to vary marks within your developing drawing to show focus and bring out texture.

Class Six: Points, Tips and Finishing Touches

Finishing touches to make your drawings pop. Also covers photographing your final work.
