Bookbinding Workshop
Create your own hard-cover A5 sketch book or notebook in this one day workshop!
Each participant will make their own book. Together, we will go through the bookbinding process step by step. From folding the signatures, measuring and marking up, sewing the signatures, backing, preparing and attaching the covers.
All materials will be supplied. You will be able to choose between 2 weights of paper - 160 gsm (which will make an 80 page notebook) or 240 gsm (heavier, which will make a 60 page sketchbook). There will also be a variety of papers to choose from for the covers. (But if you have a favourite paper or cloth that you would like to use on the covers, bring it along!)
A light lunch will be provided. (Please tell us about any dietary requirements.)
