Sunday 2 November - Festive Cards: A linocut workshop

1- 4pm (3 hours)

Would you like to make a fun, repeatable image for cards? Perhaps you have an urge to send out hand crafted holiday or celebration cards this year?  This is also a stealth way to get some awesome relief cutting skills and tips which you can apply to making your own artwork in the future.

Join experienced printmaking tutor Kyla Cresswell and carve yourself a relief block or two to print onto card stock. All tools and materials are supplied and you will leave with some handprinted cards and a block that you can continue to use in the future.

You can do a drawing in class to get started or use images provided. The drawing will be small, it needs to fit into 100 x 150mm.

All the supplies you need will be on hand––carving tools, rollers, ink, card, paper, tetra pak, gloves and aprons, plus the marvellous fuchsia press.

• You can bring your own images, but don’t have to. Image size (100 x 150mm max)
